Our room, reminiscent of a noble's bedchamber from the 1700s, exuded historical charm with modern comforts like a flat-screen TV and a seating area that made us feel right at home. The breakfast served in the common living room, adorned with a 13th-century fireplace and a billiard table, was a delightful experience. French pastries, fresh bread, and yogurt were a treat for the taste buds, enjoyed alongside the view of the courtyard garden.Veronique's hospitality was exceptional - she even placed wine and beer in the fridge for us to enjoy and let us borrow a bicycle for exploring the picturesque surroundings. The hotel's prime location allowed us easy access to the town's historic sites, which added a layer of depth to our exploration of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.With free WiFi access, private parking, and pet amenities available, Demeure Des Vieux Bains truly catered to all our needs. The property's unique features, such as a light-therapy spa bath and a hydro-jet shower in the private bathrooms, added an extra touch of luxury to our stay.
